MOH Commends KSDAA for Medical Donation to Konobo Health Facilities.

Zwedru, Liberia – March 15, 2025 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) has commended the Konobo Statutory District Association in the Americas (KSDAA) for its donation of essential medical supplies to healthcare facilities in Konobo District, Grand Gedeh County.

The donation, presented by KSDAA National President Reana J.D. Quiah-Waylee, underscored the association’s commitment to improving healthcare services in its home district. The medical consignment includes 20 mattresses, 20 pillows, 1 carton of gloves, 20 pillowcases, and 20 linens. Additionally, KSDAA announced that 10 examination beds are currently in Monrovia, pending coordination with the county health team for delivery to the district. During the handover ceremony, President Quiah-Waylee reaffirmed KSDAA’s mission to support healthcare institutions in Konobo, Glionwarbo, and Putu Administrative Districts.

The KSDAA President acknowledged the dedication of local healthcare workers despite resource constraints and expressed optimism that the donation would enhance patient care. “Our organization remains committed to bridging the healthcare gap in our district. This donation is a small step toward making a greater impact,” the organization president stated. Community leaders and healthcare administrators have been urged to collaborate to ensure the effective use of donated supplies. The Ministry of Health welcomed the initiative, describing it as a crucial intervention in addressing the district’s healthcare challenges.
