(November 21, 2024, Monrovia, Liberia)— The Ministry of Health received donation of 300 high-quality hospital beds, mattresses and accessories from the World Bank for other health facilities across Liberia and the Jordanian Hospital, a facility designated to serve as the National Infectious Disease Center. The World Bank’s contribution will enhance patient’s comfort and safety, furthering the Ministry’s efforts to improve healthcare delivery and strengthen preparedness for disease outbreaks. Health Minister, Dr. Louise M. Kpoto express gratitude to the World Bank for its unwavering support in bolstering Liberia’s healthcare infrastructure and prioritizing the health and well-being of our citizens. Together, we are paving the way for a healthier and more resilient future.
